Dave Schreck

Dave Schreck was born and raised in a small suburb of Milwaukee, WI. At a young age, he dreamed of becoming Prince. But, unlike Prince, he couldn’t sing or dance or play guitar…so he taught himself to play the drums instead. By age 17, he had his first “working band” – a punk bank with the name Just F@%#ing Noiz. He is still at it, over 25 years later.

Upon graduation from high school, Dave moved to Arizona to escape the poor music scene (and the cold weather) in Wisconsin. It was a good move. He received a music scholarship and a B.A. from Arizona State University .

Dave has performed with numerous Arizona local legends such as The Hucklebones, Mercury recording artist One, Clockpeople, Harry Luge and Haywire, and he was a founding member of The Scones. His career has taken him on tours all over the US and throughout Europe, and he has been the fill-in drummer for some Rock legends such as Alice Cooper, Meatloaf, and Ray Parker, Jr. Currently, Dave has been exploring the tribute band scene as a part of KissMania, one of the best Kiss tribute bands in the world, and Escaped, a perfectly reenacted tribute to Journey.

Dave is also an accomplished private drum instructor at Linton-Milano Music In Mesa, AZ. For 20 years, He has taught “kids” of all ages how to play drums, and has written many thought-provoking exercises and lesson plans to help them realize their goal of being a drummer.

Oh…and by the way…Dave still can’t sing or dance or play guitar, but he can do a great Prince scream. Ow-wa!!

“I love my TJS Custom drum kit. I could play other drums, but why? With TJS, I get top quality at a reasonable price…and personal service. It’s worth every penny and then some! Out on the road, I received numerous compliments on the tone quality of the drums from sound engineers all over the country. They especially loved the thump of the 18×22 kick drum and the deep yet crisp tone of my 9×14 snare drum. Thanks, Tom!” – Dave Schreck
