Kevin Colvin is the drummer with the Silver Creek Band. Kevin started out with a surf band, The Dynamics in Globe AZ. Thought he would play surf music forever and then played with a variety of college bands in Tucson, AZ.

Kevin also worked with the house band at Old Tucson. Moving into the Phoenix area, Kevin played with Shepherd’s Flock which is where he first met Margi who was the vocalist and rhythm guitar player. Kevin then spent three years in Northern CA, with Bob Walker and Walker’s Deluxe. His band opened for Elvin Bishop, Juice Newton, Jefferson Airplane among others.
Kevin returned to AZ where he settled down and became the drummer/percussionist and supplied vocals for a local RV Resort group, the Saguaro Sunset Band for 10 years. Kevin was also in the house band at Pinnacle Peak Patio for several years.
Kevin is the bandleader for the Silver Creek Band and stays busy with gigs at Roosevelt Lake Resort, several resorts in east Mesa, Elks Club, and several other venues, playing with Margi Schultz and Kenny Rodgers yes, that really is his name!)
