Lee says that his father was a busy jobbing drummer throughout PA (Altoona is hometown) and nearby states. Lee started picking up dance jobs he as soon as he could drive at age 16 (1966) and has been gigging ever since.

Lee states “we were Ludwig players in those days and I still have a few drums from that era. I also have drums from many other companies. They sound great, but none of them better than the snare that you made for me. I am still with THE PRODUCERS (currently at the Kennedy Center in DC) and I use my TJS snare for every show.”
